Attention all Marketing Executives Group members,

Re: Marketing Executives Group - Website & Logo Design Concept Competition

Recently, it has come to our attention that many of the Marketing Executives Group members think we should improve the look and feel of the group’s website and logo (www.marketingexecutives.biz). Needless to say, I agree.

Given that group members have expertise in all areas of marketing and digital media, I would like to make this next phase, a community-wide effort. To do so, I believe that we can leverage the expertise of anyone who is willing to participate in the development and decision making of our group branding. I would like to welcome a show of interest by group members who are willing to make a contribution by providing their expertise in the area of digital design (to include web and logo branding). We must keep in mind that we have over 12,000 members, and to be fair to all members, this invitation to submit a show of interest will be open to receipt until June 15th. Here’s how it will work (background info):

* The group website runs on a Drupal CMS platform (www.marketingexecutives.biz)

* Once you have shown your interest, we will establish a timeframe for concept submission

* The interested members will be required to submit a concept splash page which will include the group logo and website look and feel

* All eligible submissions will be presented to the entire community who will then vote on their preferred web and logo design concept

* The member with the winning concept will be featured as a group sponsor and will receive a continuous flow of exposure as well as lead generation opportunities for a period of 12 months (Exposing you to over 12,000 members and 1,000 new ones per month!)

Just to reiterate, the steps are:
1) Submit interest (email me at webproject@marketingexecutives.biz)
2) We provide you with details, time frames, and eligibility requirements
3) Submit concept
4) Concepts are posted and presented to the group
5) Members are then invited to vote for the concept they prefer
